Grandparents Day

This week was Grandparents Day at Cruz's school.  His class made each grandparent a card and enjoyed singing songs and showing them what they've learned in class this year.

Two Milestones

Jett hit 2 major milestones this week (well not really "major" ones but very exciting ones for mommy!)!!!

We are starting to learn how to hold our bottle all by ourselves!

And we tried rice cereal for the first time!

Boomer Sooner 2010!

Well it's that time again!  Time for football!!!  The boys came down for the OU season opener and we had so much fun!  Cruz ended up going to the game with Garrett while Jett and I went home to watch it on TV.

Garrett and I just returned from Playa Del Carmen Mexico with Austin and Kristen.  We had so much fun being beach bums and eating until we couldn't move!

A quick game of catch up...

I have been a complete blogging slacker lately!  August was like a whirl wind and I didn't even realize that it was September until just now!  Holy Moly!  My absolute most favorite season of the year is fall.  Time for football, cooler weather, sweatshirts, eating soup while watching big brother on the couch, and many other really exciting things.

So here is a recap of our last bit of summer fun!

Cruz braved his very first trip to the dentist and he did fabulous!!!!
He let the ladies look in his mouth and clean each tooth.  He didn't even bite anyone!  For being such an awesome patient, he got a new spongebob toothbrush and toothpaste!  It was so exciting!

Jett is 4 months old now!  I cannot believe how fast four months can fly by in a blink!  He amazes me every single day!  He weighs 16lbs and is 25inches tall.  He is already trying to sit up by himself and he loves to "chit chat" with his mommy all day!  We just started using Cruz's old excersaucer and although it was a little overwhelming at first, I think he may love it!  

These two boys along with Garrett make me realize everyday how lucky I am!  

Life is not measured by the number of breaths we take 

but by the moments that take our breath away.

Big Kids Night Out

We thought Cruz deserved an evening out with Mommy and Daddy and all of our attention!  He has become such a great big brother and I'm sure its been hard to have to share us and our time with Jett.  We started the evening at his favorite place, Andy Alligators.  Then we headed south to BJ's for pizza and pasta!  So yummy!  This kid cleaned his plate!!!

3 year old and 3 month old... How do mommy's do it?

My babies are growing so fast!  Cruz is 3 and Jett is nearly 3 months old now.  Today was the first time I attempted professional pics with both of them.  I was actually surprised at how many great shots we got!  Both boys were in a great mood and we really had a good time trying to make each other laugh!  Here are a few!  Don't worry Grandmas, Grandpas, Aunts, Uncles and Friends!  We have lots of prints for all of your outdated frames!
