Hailey and Reagan had their annual dance recital this morning and of course, Aunt Kristi would not have missed it for the world!!!  They both were amazing!  The best in the show, I believe!

Dad's Retired!

My Dad finally officially retired after working in the MWC Fire Department for 32 1/2 years.  The department celebrated his accomplishments last week and our entire Blackburn group came out to support him!  6 months ago we weren't sure that Dad would be able to stand there much less introduce his family, give a sweet speach to his firefighter brothers, accept an award and plaque, and eat cake!:)  The Lord has blessed us!

Memorial Weekend 2012

We spent Memorial Weekend with the Campbell Clan at Lake Texoma.  We had so much fun soaking up sun and playing in the water.  We can't wait to spend most of our summer weekends doing the same thing!!!

Summer T-ball is Back!

Cruz started T-ball practices last week and we are so pumped to be playing with alot of the same kiddos from last year along with some new friends.  It is going to be a super fun season!

Pre-K Graduate

My Cruzy graduated from Pre-K.  Although we were not able to attend the official graduation ceremony, we did get this cutie patootie grad photo.  He looks so big!:(  And now he's telling me he wants to start shopping for "cool kindergarten clothes."  What the heck does that mean?  I think we are in for trouble from here on out!

Emery Grace Blackburn

My third neice arrived on May 16th.  Emery Grace was born at 3:21pm and weighed 9lbs 8oz.  We adore her and can't wait to spoil her like all the other kiddos!

The New Baby at GES

The new baby has arrived at GES.  Our first tricked out flat bed truck.  Yes, it has become these little things that we get so excited about now that we own a business!

Mothers Day 2012

Cruz is 5!

Cruz turned 5 on Wednesday!  I really can't believe I have a 5 year old!  Makes this Mama feel super old!

He is the most outgoing, curious, funny, and kind hearted little monkey I know and I'm so proud that I get to be his Mommy every day!!!:)

Tony Hawk, Watch Out!

So Cruz asked Uncle Austin and Aunt Kristen to get him a skate board for his birthday!  They hooked him up with a sweet Spidey board with all the knee/elbow pads and a matching helmet!

Party Mania!

We had the boys birthday parties at Andy Alligators last Friday night.  They love AA because there are games for every age group and size.  The boys wanted a Star Wars themed party so we had Darth Vadar and Storm Trooper cakes and cupcakes and Star Wars Pez dispensers to give out to all our friends!  After the party at AA, Cruz's BFF, Brodie, came over for our very first friend sleep over!  The boys did great together!  They played with all of Cruz's new toys, watched movies, and ate popcorn! 

The Juice Box Turns 2!

My sweet baby is already TWO!!!  Dr. Hopkins weighed him in at a whopping 31lbs!  Little stinker wouldn't sit still long enough for us to measure his height so I'll have to pull out the tape measure when he's sleeping this week!:)

Jett is so full of energy yet still so sweet and snuggly!  He is talking more and more everyday and loves to run and play with brother!  His favorite foods are fruit snacks and chocolate milk!:)

Party Mode is in Full Effect!

This Friday is the boys birthday party!  Since they both have April birthdays 6 days apart we are just having one giant party to celebrate!  Cruz started the countdown on Monday.  He told me when I picked him up from school that we were in LEVEL 1 PARTY MODE!  Yesterday was level 2 and today we are in a level 3!  I think you can see where this is going!  Watch out people.... Level 5 is going to be CRAZY!!!!!!!!!!!  Can't wait!

The training wheels are coming off - Attempt #1

Cruz has been asking Daddy to take off his training wheels on his bike for some time.  Well GC finally took them off and started working with him the other night.  After about 15 minutes and some visible frustration, he politely asked Daddy to put the training wheels back on!  O well!  We will try again soon, I'm sure!

Easter 2012

We had a wonderful Easter weekend!  We started Friday evening with parties and egg hunts at school, then had the Beaty's and Yaffee's over for some backyard fun.  Saturday we went to Chief and Nana's for another egg hunt, dinner, grand prix racing, and smores.  And we finished off the weekend celebrating Jesus resurrection at church on Sunday followed by lunch with the Campbell clan and another (3rd) easter egg hunt!  I think we still may be detoxing from the candy overload!!!
