Bathtub Painting

I foung this fun idea on Pinterest and the boys had a blast with it!  Bathtub paints made from shaving cream and food coloring.  Ours were a little messy but so worth it!  I gave each kiddo a paint brush (which only lasted a few seconds) and then they figured out it was funner to just use your fingers!

My two cents:

If you don't mind your kids smelling like Barbasol for school the next day, and don't mind giving your tub a quick clorox wipe down afterward, this activity is totally worth the mess and $3 price tag!  Loads of fun!

All the other kids with their pumped up kicks....

Aren't as cute as Jett in his new high top sneakers!!!!!!!!!!!!  Love this kid and his dirty shirt:)

Cutie Pies!

Just thought they looked so cute this morning before school!  Can't beleive my boys are growing up so stinkin' fast.  They were both just babies yesterday, I promise!!! :)

Cruz - 4 yrs old       Jett - 17 months

First Away Football Weekend at the Lake!

We spent this last weekend at the lake with the fam!  The cooler weather was a nice change and made it much funner to play outside with the boys!  We cheered the Sooners to a huge victory against Florida State  and then headed home Sunday to wrap up the weekend at the State Fair and Toy Story on Ice!

Grandparents Day 2011

Cruz had Grandparents Day today!  Gammy, Papa, and Nana were able to attend! (Chief was busy working a garage sale at Mimi's house)  Sounds like the whole group had a blast.  Each Grandparent got to share where they went to school and what their favorite subject was and each kid in the class got to participate in a silly flash card exercise.  After dancing, singing, and playing on the playground, I'm sure the kids and grandparents were a little worn out!

Are you ready for some FOOTBALL????

WE ARE!!!  The Campbell household usually begins counting down to football season about as soon as its ending in January!  We are so excited to be tailgating again with all of our friends and family!  The boys were so pumped to come down and hang out and besides the sizzling heat, I think they had a good time!  Gammy came and rescued them before kickoff and they went to her house to swim and watch the game!!!

Summer Wrap Up :(

I have been a huge blog slacker lately!  Anyhow,  here is our summer wrap up!

We had our last Thundercats Tball game.  Cruz got a medal which he has shown everyone including his teacher Ms. Ethel!  I'm so proud of him!  Now he is already asking when he can start playing basketball, soccer, and football!  Whew!

We've spent a couple more weekends at the lake just trying to soak up all the sun and sand we can get!

We went to see Kid Rock at the Zoo Amp with the Higgins!

I hate that this pic is blurry!  I could literally high five him, thats how close we were!!!

We've had picnics in the backyard and lots of silly time!!! :)

And I guess the government wants to go ahead and put me in the nursing home!!!:(  Getting older stinks but goodness I didn't think I was ready to be getting mail like this yet!!!

Let's just say that even though Oklahoma had a record number of days in the triple digits this summer and most people were complaining, this had to be my favorite summer so far!!!
