I know its been over a week since we returned but you know what they say, "better late than never!"
We had an amazing week in Florida with the entire Blacburn posse! We packed up and left bright and early for our awesome adventure!
This would be Reagan and Jett's first time on an airplane so they were very excited!:)
Once we arrived in Orlando, we settled into our hotel and then headed over to Downtown Disney. This place was awesome! Full of little restuarants, bars, shops and outdoor entertainment. The best part is, we were able to get there by riding this little boat from our hotel!
The second day we went to the Magic Kingdom and it was just as magical as I remember from when I was a kid! Everything from all the characters & shops to the landscaping & music! I was on sensory overload (in a good way)! The kids had a ball riding rides, seeing all the characters, and watching the parades and entertainment! We even got Cruz to ride Space Mountain with the grown ups! He didn't cry or anything! Whoa!
The third day we went to Animal Kingdom and started with breakfast with Donald Duck. We ended up seeing Mickey, Minnie, Goofy & Daisy too! After breakfast we went on this amazing safari ride where we got to see all the animals close up! It was incredible!
The next day we went back to the Magic Kingdom so the girls could visit the Bibbity Bobbity Boutique and have lunch with the Princesses and the boys and I visisted to Pirates League and learned how to sword fight! We also ran into Buzz Lightyear on this day which the boys LOVED!
Thursday evening we went to Epcot to have dinner and let the kids see the fireworks show. Lets just say it was the most "eventful" evening we had during the week! Never thought I would bail a 10 person table at a restuarant before EVER!:( You had to be there... Anyway! Then the kids started to cry when the fire works went off so we raced towards the exit and went back to the hotel! The Blackburn/Campbell kiddos DO NOT CARE for fireworks!:(
On Friday we went to Hollywood Studios (which I didn't end up with many pics of). They had a great Toy Story Mania ride that we loved and a cute show with all of the Disney Jr. show characters in it! Jett liked wearing his Buzz gear on this day!
On the last day we let the kids sleep in and relax for the first part of the day! I think by this time, they were all a little worn out from not being on their regular schedules. Then we went back over to Hollywood Studios so the Dad's could ride some of the big rides! Then we took the tram over for one last visit to the Magic Kingdom and the electrical parade! It was amazing! The kids were all awake and loved every minute of it!
Overall it was just an awesome week spent making priceless memories with some of my very favorite people in the world! I could not have asked for more!
Thanks Nana and Chief! We love you!
