Summer "Do" 2010!

Cruz's hair has been getting pretty shaggy lately and so last night he decided to let Mommy shave it off for the summer!  OMG, he looks just like Uncle Marshall when he was this age.  Can you say "trouble maker"??

Love it!  Love it!  Love it!  God knew what he was doing when he made me a "boy" mommy because this face (even with the tongue sticking out) makes my heart melt!!!

I love my brother!!!

Ahh!  I haven't been able to wrangle both boys together for too many pics yet but I managed to get this one good one!  Cruz has been such a great big brother to Jett.  He constantly wants to hold him and give him kisses!  He helps with diaper changes and watches over Jett when we ride in the car!  It is so cute!  Poor Jett has no idea that someday Cruz will want to tackle him and take away his toys!  O, why can't the sweetness stick around forever???

Lake Bums!

So we've been spending tons of time at the new lake house!  Its so fun to head down and relax with the kiddos.  Cruz had a ball last weekend when the Blackburns came down to play!

1 week old already???

Jett already has been here over a week!  We had our first informal photo shoot here at the lake house.  Here are some of my favorites!

Welcome to the world Jett!!!

I'm completely playing catch up here...  My life has been turned upside down since April 12th!

Jett Alan Campbell joined our family on Monday April 12th at 9:33am.  He weighed 7lbs 6oz and was 19 inches long.

So here's the story...  I woke up Monday planning to head into work for my last full day.  I was going to do some last minute work before my scheduled c-section on Wednesday.  I got myself and Cruz all ready to go and went to grab my purse in the laundry room when, OMG!!!, my water breaks everywhere!  If you've never experienced your water breaking, BE THANKFUL!  Its pretty unpleasant!  It feels like Niagara Falls that you can't control!  Needless to say, I wasn't going to work after all.  Luckily Garrett was still home and we ran Cruz to school and rushed to the hospital.  By the time we arrived, I was contracting every 5 minutes and they were growing stronger by the minute!  Lets just say, I DO NOT know how some woman go through childbirth with no pain meds!!!  Once I got checked in and signed my life away (paperwork shmaperwork), the anesthesiologist who became my bestest friend took me back for my spinal block and the c-section was underway!  Jett was pulled out at 9:33 and the rest is history!!!  Here are some pics of our special day.

Party Animals!

Today was Cruz's 3rd birthday party and I'm not sure who had more fun (the kids or the Dad's)!  We went to Andy Alligators in Norman which is one of Cruz's favorite places to play.  Him and Hailey immediately went for the bowling alley where they worked on their strike skills!  Brodie raced Cruz up and down the jungle gym and Max and Mason joined in for the Father/Kid go-cart races!  So much fun!  We're so, so, so lucky to have such wonderful friends and family!!!

Easter Weekend

So we were lucky enough to get to spend Easter/Garrett's Birthday weekend at our new lake house!  We closed on it Friday April 2nd and began the daunting task of moving!  Yuck!  We've only just begun but here are a few pics of the house and "Cruz's" new boat!  Lets just say, the kid is going to be a lake bum!  FOR SURE!!!

This is the back view of the house when it was first listed for sale.

Elyce and I made a Saturday shopping trip to IKEA.  Can you say UHAUL?

This will be a summer full of projects to get this place all furnished and decorated!  We're so excited to get to spend the summer playing with our boys and our nieces!  (We're right around the corner from the Jackson/Blackburn/Fischer compound!!!) Can't wait to create lots of memories!!!
