36 week update

36 weeks down and "technically" 3 weeks till baby Jett arrives!!!

We are so excited!!!

Paint Party...

It seems like just yesterday that Garrett and I were casting my belly with Baby Cruz inside!  Laughing the entire time because we didn't know what the heck we were doing and I had to stand still with my arms over my head for 45 minutes at 8 1/2 months preggers!  (it is quite the challenge!)  We had no clue how much our lives were about to change forever!  That this sweet little boy would melt our hearts at first glance.  And here we are 3 years later...  With Cruz's help, we casted my belly again last night with Baby Jett inside.  It was a bit messier this time, however, we still laughed at the entire process because Cruz kept asking "what are those mommy?"  while pointing at my ta tas!  It was a learning experience for everyone!  We let it dry and he helped me paint and decorate it.  Its hard to believe that in a few short weeks we will have another sweet precious boy melting our hearts all over again and adding another element of excitement to our lives forever!  I feel so blessed!!!

St. Patty's Day 2010

So my handsome little man was so excited to sport his tie shirt to school yesterday that we had to take pics before we left.  He even gave me the "GQ open jacket" pose!  Can anyone say ham???  Watch out ladies...

Love, Love, Love...

This was one of my favorite parts of the shower for Baby Jett!  Aunt Amy made the most adorable diaper cake full of goodies for the little man!  It is so darn cute that I'm having trouble contemplating whether to take it apart or not!  I love it!  We didn't get any pics of it at the shower but I took some today of it on my counter because its just so stinkin' awesome!!!

Thanks Aunt A!!!  We love you!

Mommy and Baby Jett say Thank You!!!

Today we had Baby Jett's shower and it was so much fun!  Let's just say I have the best friends around!!!  They put together such an awesome afternoon with lots of yummy food and two cakes to die for! (yes, i said 2!)  Baby Jett received tons of great gear, fun toys, and lots and lots of diapers and wipes!  Thank you! Thank you!  Here are some pics of the celebration...

Funny Story...

So you don't realize that everything you say to a 2 year old is stored in their memory bank "literally!"  Cruz is playing with his choo choo track the other night and yells out "Help you, Mommy?"  I'm like, help you? What is he talking about?  After a few rounds of this I realize he's just repeating what G and I are always saying.  "Can I help you?"  "Can Mommy help you?"  "Do you need help?"  We hadn't explained that he has to change the YOU to ME!  So funny!!!

Muscles

Cruz has decided that a year of flintstones vitamins have really made his muscles bigger!  And to prove it, he wants me to take pictures of them all the time!  Here are a few so you get the idea...
