Color Me Rad Run for Emery!

Miss Emery officially has a fan club! There was huge group of family and friends that turned out to run in the Color Me Rad 5k yesterday which benefits the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation. We had a blast running and getting filthy dirty for such a dear cause.

I let Cruz completely pick out clothes and dress himself for school today. Here's what we ended up with. Black skull shorts, navy tank, blue spiderman socks, Finn Mcmissile shoes, superhero cape and mask! He was so proud of himself!

Field Trip to Martin Nature Park

I was able to join Cruz and his summer camp class mates on a field trip last week to Martin Nature Park. They took us on a hike through the park to see birds, turtles, fish, and lots of insects. Then we learned about some of the other animals that live in Oklahoma like snakes, rabbits, spiders, etc. The kids had a picnic lunch and then we headed back. So glad that I was able to experience this with Cruz and see him in action with his classmates! He makes Mommy very proud!:)

Lake Time with the Beatys

We took our BF's, the Beaty's to the lake with us a few weekends ago. Our boys and the Beaty boys have so much fun together! We played on the water, played at the lake house, cooked out, watched movies and had a blast!!!
