I have been trying to find ways to embrace my inner Mommy and the fact that I'm about to be surrounded by boys of all shapes and sizes!  As you all know, its really hard to find fun, unique, one of a kind items for little boys these days.  So, therefore, I'm starting my own Etsy shop featuring all things boys!!!  I'm calling it...

... Two Turtles ...

since I've been blessed with two turtles of my own!  So please start spreading the word for anyone who may have a little dude at home or may need to purchase a baby boy gift for a friend!  I am currently working on getting my Etsy shop and Paypal accounts set up so I will keep everyone posted!!!

Happy Valentines Day!!!

So both of my sweethearts decided to surprise me with these beautiful flowers on v-day morning!  I was so excited!  I got hugs and kisses and chocolate too!  All of my favorite things from my favorite boys!!!

30 week update

I can't believe that I am 30 weeks pregnant!  It has gone by fast and slow.  (if that makes sense!)  We are fast approaching my April 14th due date and I feel like there is so much left to do.  What? you ask.  Well I don't know but I'm sure there's something I'm forgetting!   I do have a severe case of "baby brain!"

Slumber Party!

So have you ever heard the phrase, "2 of a good thing is better than 1?"  Well we were so excited to have our niece Hailey over for a sleepover last night!  First of all, Garrett and I love spending time with her and secondly, Cruz needs a partner in crime for all of his 2yr old escapades!!!  We all had a blast!

Whoever said that the 2's were terrible...

So I'm not sure who exactly came up with this phrase but I beg to differ.  The 2's at our house have been relatively drama free until recently.  I'm not sure if its the lack of sunshine, warm air, and mommy's patience but our little man has suddenly turned into a BRAT (and that's putting it politely!).  I've come to the realization that days after I pop out a newborn into this world, I'm about to face the...

"THANK GOODNESS FOR WINE" THREES!!!

He yells and bosses, and stomps at us about everything and then throws a fit if we do not grant his wishes immediately!  Its exhausting!  God and I are growing close on the subject because I have to ask for an extra bit of sanity when I wake up every morning.  I'm sure this is all normal and he will turn into the polite, well adjusted, respectful young man that we're molding him to be, however, in the meantime I may pull my hair out!  Please pray for Garrett and I during this time and pray that our "time out corner" gets a break real soon!

Here's just a glimpse of a meltdown today in the car because we wouldn't give him a 3rd sucker.  Yes, thats right!  He had already cleared 2 of them!

Sweet Punkin'

Today was Jett's (2nd) 4D ultrasound.  The first time he wasn't very cooperative so we went back today to get some better shots.  He is adorable and looks just like Cruz!  He was actually doing some crazy gymnastics trick and sucking on his toe at first!!!  Once he moved around a bit, we got some great shots of those sweet cheeks that Mama can't wait to kiss on.
