I'm so very behind on blogging lately! We have just a few (million) things going on in our lives right now. Anyhow, I want to catch up...
The Campbell clan made our annual New Years trip. This year we chose to go back to Vegas with all the other crazies!:) It was so much fun but totally exhausting because I'm too old to act like a 20 year old!:)
Of course we had to wear our annual "you won a ticket to go on our trip" shirts! We're nerds and we know it!
Night one we watched the OU BCS bowl game at Emeril Legasses Stadium and then hit the craps tables! Everyone ended up winning alot of money so we celebrated at Tao until the wee hours of the morning!
We started our New Years Eve celebration by singing Happy Birthday to Gammy (Elyce) and having a delicious dinner at Cut! Then we moved our party to the patio at Chateau (which is in the Paris). We reserved a table on the balcony looking over the strip so we could see all the chaos from above. It was incredible! The fireworks were amazing and everyone had a blast!
On our last full day in Vegas, Garrett took me to lunch at my most favorite restuarant, Mon Ami Gabi. This is where we got engaged exactly 8 years ago! They almost sat us at the exact same table where GC proposed! We had a wonderful lunch and mimosas!
The boys celebrated NYE at their annual party "The Blackburn Bash!" They went to the Jasmine Morran Childrens Museum, took nature walks on the farm, went to the park, and probably drove Nana and Chief a little nuts!!!:)
NYE2011 = SUCCESS!
